One of last week’s projects was a classic paper craft. The kids turned construction paper into colorful flowers and butterflies – these easy creations are great for reinforcing the capability to follow instructions. The kids were kept busy cutting and folding before being able to add the finishing touches of button centers for the flowers and different color chenille stems for the bodies of the butterflies. Seeing the kids hard at work inspired us to recycle some old FunLab flyers and dedicate one of our windows to all the things we like about spring. After a week of gray and rainy weather one can’t help but wish for a warm spring day!
