At FunLab, we love washable school glue. In this post, we used it to create a Stained Glass Window. We also used another one of our favorites – crafts sticks. This is a great project for an art class at school. Teachers try it out and let us know how it went.
You will need:
Liquid Watercolors
School Glue
Craft Sticks
Acrylic Paint
Ribbon
Let’s get started:
Step 1: Paint 8 craft sticks green.
Step 2: Glue 4 sticks into a frame shape-overlapping the ends.
Step 3: Glue a piece of transparent plastic to the back of the frame. We used a plastic sandwich bag! Trim off the excess plastic.
Step 4: Glue on a piece of ribbon.
Step 5: Glue on the back of the frame with the remaining 8 craft sticks.
Step 6: Add a couple of drops of liquid watercolors directly to the small school glue bottles.
Step 7: Paint your pictures directly onto the plastic. Let dry overnight.
Hang in a window and enjoy the colorful effect!
have fun
