Painting glass

This year the FunLab Bilingual Summer Camp has been all about experimenting with new materials so when I found the glass candle holders in the Borgione catalog I decided to give it a go. We left the kids room to experiment and the results were a bright explosion of dabbed, stripped and painted glass.

You will need:
Glass candle holders
Glass Paint
Small candles
Candle paint

Let’s get started:
Step 1: Have the kids paint the glass candle holders a single color both inside and out.

Step 2: Let dry.

Step 3: Once the base coat is dry, let the kids explore using the different colors and shapes.

Step 4: We had small candles and liquid wax paint so we decorated candles to add to our candle holders.

My personal favorite was this one!

Try it out and send us pictures of your creations
