Easter snuck up on me this year. I love Easter crafts but this year I broke my arm and crafting was just not an option;). Freedom from the cast means back to crafting but I needed something really easy which meant using things that I already had at home. Thank goodness I am a craft supply hoarder. Here are two ideas on how to transform plain white plastic eggs into something special to decorate your house just in time for Easter. LAST MINUTE EASTER CRAFTERS this is for you!
You will need:
plastic eggs
Marabu Easy Marble
white and pink felt
pompoms
google eyes
black cording
The challenge was to use these plain eggs into something really cute.
Let’s get started
EASY EASTER CRAFT – BUNNY
Step 1: For the bunny face Easter eggs, prepare your material that you are going to use for your face. Felt ears, a pompom nose and, of course, google eyes.
Step 2: Glue everything onto to the egg and add a colorful string. Your easy EASTER CRAFT bunnies are ready to go!
EASY EASTER CRAFT – MARBLED EGGS
Step 1: This one is a little more messy so make sure you set up the work area to protect the craft surface. Drop your colors on top of the water.
Step 2: Dip your eggs all the way into the mixture. The kids love this step – almost as good as Shrinky Dinks:). Want to see how fun check out the Video.
Step 3: You are going to need to hang the eggs to dry. It takes a little while but the wait is worth it. We put some in a bowl and some we hung on our egg tree!
Have a great Easter!
