Klimpt inspired geometric batique

After having fun with metallic colors and geometric shapes, we decided to create a batique inspired by the works of Gustave Klimpt. Glue, paint and a good wash are all you need to make this glittering GEOMETRIC BATIQUE.

You will need:

Fabric Scraps
Metallic paint
Washable school glue

Language development: glue, fabric, wash, paint, triangle, dot, square, line, rectangle

Let’s get started:

Step 1: Use the washable school glue to paint a mix of geometric shapes on a piece of fabric. Let dry.

Step 2: Paint with acrylic metallic paints. Let dry.

Step 3: Wash off all the glue and discover the geometric forms under the glue!
