Tiramisù is one of my family’s favorite desserts! The original recipe, however, calls for the use of raw eggs and coffee which little kids might not like. In this post, I will explain how to prepare a version that even little kids can enjoy.
Ingredients
400 g lady finger cookies
500 g mascarpone cheese
200 ml whipped cream
150 g sugar
soluble orzo and milk
powdered chocolate and colored candies to decorate the dessert
How to make it
In a large bowl mix the mascarpone together with the sugar. One the side whip the cream and slowly add it to the mascarpone/sugar mixture. Make sure to stir in slowly.
Dissolve two teaspoons of soluble orzo in a glass of milk.
Dip the lady finger cookies in the milk/orzo mixture and layer in a rectangular pan. Kids are great at this step.
Cover each layer of cookies with the cream of mascarpone.
Once you have finished the cookies dust the surface with powdered chocolate and garnish with colored sugars.
Place the tiramisù in your refrigerator for one hour and then it is ready for the table! Enjoy!
