Last weekend we tried out the awesome LUMIBOARD by MAPED CREATIV and made Trick or Treat bags with a Monster Mash theme. This week our challenge is to stuff these LUMIBOARD decorated bags with lots of homemade trick or treats! I tried to limit the Halloween craziness to things that are easily made with things you have at home or can get at a nearby shop. So let’s get busy making homemake trick or treats for your MONSTER MASH BAG!
TRICK OR TREAT #1: HALLOWEEN CANDY
Kinder BATS and Ghost POPS!
Choose your favorite chocolate bar and transform it into a silly Halloween character. In my house, the Kinder cereali bars are a huge hit so we made KINDER BATS!
You can also convert lollipops into silly little ghosts with a little bit of paper and google eyes!
TRICK OR TREAT #2: SLIME!
What kid doesn’t like slime?? We made super easy BUTTER SLIME recipe I found online to make Witch GOO slime for our bags. Easy and not sticky!
TRICK OR TREAT #3: DIY HALLOWEEN CRAFTS
Over the years we have made loads of Halloween DIY crafts! Check out the archive and you will find so many ideas – one of my favorites are ALIEN GHOSTS. This one is really easy is all you need is an old cork, black paint and paper and some imagination! We added a keychain but they are cute even without the accessory!
TRICK OR TREAT #4: ORIGAMI
If you have coloured paper at home you can make ORIGAMI bats! I just watched a couple of videos on YOUTUBE and here are our bats!
TRICK OR TREAT #5: MINI PUMPKINS!
Carving pumpkins is quite a new thing in Italy. We carved up some of these little pumpkins with happy faces! My kids loved their small size. Don’t forget to put in a candle! All the fun is in how their faces glow when it is dark.
If you make any homemade goodies for Halloween make sure you send them to me so that we can share ideas!
keep crafting
