Are you getting ready for a birthday party and feeling overwhelmed? Does your child love the Frozen movies? How about a Frozen themed birthday party with candy snowflakes? Sometimes putting together a birthday party can be overwhelming. Here you can find two easy ideas for your little one’s upcoming big day.
The first thing we did was make lot of doily snowflakes to hang around the house. The paper doilies are easy to find on Amazon – we ordered this set which has enough doilies to make 5 snowflakes in three different sizes for a total of 15. A great cost effective way to decorate for a birthday party! We followed this fool proof tutorial. Add a string and you are ready to go!
The next step was to make CANDY SNOWFLAKES using royal icing. I followed a very easy recipe that I found here. The only modification that I made was to add blue food coloring and a couple drops of vanilla to make them taste yummy. We traced out the snowflakes on parchment paper, sprinkled on some sugar and let dry overnight. Our snowflakes are big and took a long time to dry!
We used the action figures from Frozen 2 to help decorate for the party! The special set has the entire cast from the movie – guaranteed to make your birthday girl happy!
