I have seen loads of posts on the internet that melt straws in order to make DIY bracelets. I never tried it out because using the iron with kids during a craft project has always stressed me out. However, when looking to make a low cost party favor for this year’s Halloween party – straws started to sound really interesting. These DIY Bat Halloween Bracelets are easy, fast and really inexpensive to make. I made a load of them while the kids were doing homework.
You will need:
black straws
Bat die cutter
Silver sticker paper
White cording
Let’s get crafting our DIY Bat Halloween Bracelets
Get all your material organized. I used my BigShot and the bat die cutters to cut all the stickers we neeed in just a couple of minutes!
Iron 4 black straws together.
Trim and punch holes in the opposite ends and add a bat sticker.
Add a white sting.
After we finished making the bracelets we realized that they could also double as the finishing touch for a BATMAN costume.
Have fun
Alison
