Organizing a birthday party at home for a 10 year is a daunting endeavor! After an extensive search on the internet we decided for a PIZZA PARTY with an unusal cake – ICE CREAM CUPCAKES!!! My daughter loves marshmellows so we decided to create our own party favors using some colorful marshmellows that we found at a local store. Considering how stressed I was about having 10 girls at home it ended up being an EASY and fun time. If you are looking for last minute party ideas try these out!

Ice Cream Cupcakes
Step 1: Put 12 flat bottom cones in a baking pan.
Step 2: Fill up the cones 2/3 with cupcake batter. Cook at 180 for 20 to 25 minutes. Make sure that you test the cupcakes – the bottom takes a little bit longer to cook. I put the rack on the bottom shelf of the oven so that the cones would not get too dark.
Step 3: After the cupcakes are cooled. Put a single marshmellow on the top of the cupcake.
Step 4: Cover the marshmellow with white frosting.
Step 5: Decorate with small colored candies.
