Ready for an all new ART PROJECT?! Drawing on aluminum foil gives a glittery effect that young (and old) artists will love. If you a teacher looking for an art project to do at school this is a great option – low cost with guaranteed results!
You will need:
Hot glue gun
Mini canvas or piece of cardboard
Aluminum foil
Permanent markers
Let’s get started:
Step 1: Draw an abstract image with intersecting lines using hot glue. Let dry.
Step 2: Place drawing side down on a piece of aluminum foil.
Step 3: Carefully fold the foil around the back of the canvas. Do not pull tight – if you have pulled the aluminum foil tight when you work on the drawing you will make holes!
Step 4: Turn over and carefully push the foil down around the hot glue lines in order to recreate the image “painted” with the hot glue gun.
Step 5: Start drawing and discover the cool ABSTRACT ALUMINUM ART that you can create.
Step 6: Glue on a piece of twine and your art is ready to be hung.
Have fun!
